Welcome to the 2019 / 2020 Track & Field Season

Important changes to Interclub:  An outline of the changes for the season ahead can be found on the General Information section under Track & Field on the website.   CLICK HERE to view the season's programme.

These changes include ...

  • An Online Entry System for Interclub - ALL LATE ENTRIES will be charged an extra $5.00 as from today
  • A Weekly Official's Roster 
  • Duty Club and Weekly Helpers Roster

Our aim this season is have live results and completed result available ASAP after the meeting has concluded.  We have invested in more technology to make this happen.

Master's throwing events now to be run separately

The Athletics Canterbury Track & Field Championships are conducted over THREE session.
Session 1 Saturday @ 2:00 p.m., Session 2 Saturday @ 5:30p.m
Session 3 Sunday @ 9:30 p.m.

This season we are offering ALL grades from U16 to MASTERS at our championships.  ALL Grade 13+ Canterbury Childrens athletes who are attending Secondary School in 2020 as welcome to attend.

ONLINE REGISTRATION LINK for AC CHAMPIONSHIPS NOW OPEN

NOTE:  Given there may NOT be heats required for sprint events, three additional non-championship events are available, OPEN 100m, OPEN 200m & OPEN 400m.   You can enter these online too. 

Online entries CLOSE Wednesday 19th February @ 11:00 p.m.

Timed Programme - Start lists and fields sheets
will be posted on Friday 21st February


Online Entries close Thursday, 20th February @ 11:45 p.m.
(Late entries + an additional $5.00 fee will be accepted on the day, 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event start time, except for SHORT HURDLES (NO Late entries on the day).

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER or you may not be able to compete

MEETING RESULTS will be posted on the website ASAP following the conclusion of the meeting.

A successful interclub meeting requires all involved, i.e. athletes, coaches, officials & supporters, to work together.  Do you play your part and how can you help?  Please offer where you can.


Training at Nga Puna Wai?   Have you paid?

If regularly training at Nga Puna Wai, please visit the website shop to purchase a training membership.  There is also a casual user fee.  The casual user fee is income for Athletics Canterbury, so PLEASE pay!  

If you approached at NPW and have NOT paid a training fee, you will be asked to leave.
