Formally held at (but no longer available) Halswell Quarry, this Long course Canterbury Cross Country championship event has yet again the added challenge of hurdles to either jump over or run around. This is event four of the challenge series with races available for all grades with full details

Run in conjunction with PAPO (the Peninsula and Plains Orienteering Club), this event will test people’s ability to run fast over a one km cross country loop in their own space to see who comes out the fastest.  Individuals will be set off at prescribed times and there will be live tracking of placings. Held over the upcoming Nationals cross country course in Hagley Park, this is event five of the challenge series with races available for all grades.

The NZ Cross Country & Relay Championships will descend on Christchurch’s North Hagley Park. We’re bringing the racing to the fans with the never-before-raced course, incorporating sections of the Hagley Golf Course, designed so fans can catch every step of the head-to-head racing right in the heart of Garden City.

Get ready for an exhilarating race day experience. This is an opportunity for the younger members of our clubs to compete in their own championship event on the flat, fast course on offer at Bottle Lake. 

​Our Walkers too have the opportunity to set some fast times on a fast course, AND for our adults we have the Mile Champs – quick running required.

Fast and furious – this run on the roads under lights is a race sure to provide excitement. We look forward to seeing both kids and adults in attendance this year and remember, as it gets dark just after 6pm, headtorches are compulsory.
