The inaugural ‘Starting out in Officiating’ Zoom session is here! With the topic of ‘learning more about the sport through the eyes of an official’, this will be of real interest to all clubs, parent helpers and those wondering whether to jump the fence.
This presentation will give you an insight into each Track & Field event without the full burden of rules. The presentation is aimed at the volunteer who wishes to learn the sport and suits those with little or no knowledge.
It is a great opportunity to hear and discuss all things athletics with two of NZ’s top officials Trevor and Ruth. (Both who entered the sport without any such knowledge.) Should last around one hour.
