Canterbury Team announcement for National Track and Field Championships 2026
Canterbury is proud to be sending a strong team of 133 athletes to compete at Nationals in Auckland next month. The team includes several current National Champions determined to defend their titles, alongside athletes eager to step onto the podium.
We’re also excited to have a number of competitors attending Nationals for the first time. This is one of the largest teams Canterbury has sent to compete outside the host region in recent years — a fantastic achievement in itself.
We look forward to seeing the team’s hard work come to life in Auckland and to following their progress throughout the competition.
