Updated Athletic competitions at Ngā Puna Wai in Red
The safety and well-being of our participants, staff and volunteers is our number one priority when we are delivering our events and the sport is committed to delivering events, even if they don’t look like they normally would.
At Red, we will continue to use the My Vaccine Pass, where we are only allowed gatherings of up to 100 people (officials and event helpers not included in this number) we must ensure that no gatherings cross over whilst an event is running.
Please note the following: –
No spectators are allowed at our events whilst in Red setting.
Masks are mandatory for all at Red unless you are warming up or competing.
Remember to scan in and have your My Vaccine Pass available.
The same athlete (regardless of age) is not allowed to compete in more than one session in a day, so they cannot leave and return for another session later in the day.
A coffee cart will be in the car park for those that need a caffeine injection and any food.
Please if you are feeling unwell stay at home.
A this is a fluid situation, we will constantly be reviewing our processes, as competitions from one week to the next could look different to accommodate the changing environment we are currently in.
